WOW!! MOTHER AND DAUGHTER GIVE BIRTH IN THE SAME HOSPITAL JUST A HALF HOUR APART

What would the think the chances would be that both a mom and daughter would each give birth to children in the same hospital on the very same day, with only a mere thirty four minutes to separate them? In truth, that was actually something of a rhetorical question as seriously, who would know where to start in working that sort of equation out? Another rhetorical question….I think the point here is that those chances are surely astronomical at best.

But it has happened recently in the United States at Tampa General Hospital in Florida.
Thirty seven year old Angela Patram became a grandmother for the first time just thirty four minutes after she became a mother for the fifth time with little Rayna Patram . It must have been one of the most joyful days of her life as well as that of her daughter, twenty year old Teranisha Billups, who gave birth to Jerry Michaud, Jr. Likewise, it would have been an equally joyous, if not confusing, day for the family of both ladies. Little Rayna became an aunt when she was just a half hour old.

 “It’s a girl!” “It’s a boy!” Wait, who had the girl? Who had the boy?!

"We knew our due dates were around the same time, but we never expected that it would happen on the same day," Angela Patram told People. "I was shocked when I found out. I was like, 'This cannot be right!' "
Billups is reported to have gone in to labor on the 18th of February and the next day she gave birth which just so happened to be the day her mother was due to welcome her own child to the world via C-section.

Dr Atef Zakhary of Tampa General Hospital, was on hand to deliver both youngsters. He was also there earlier to deliver two of Patram’s older children.

On the hospital’s website, Dr Zakhary explained his joy and astonishment to be involved;

 "I've been in this field for 29 years … I've seen maybe 14,000 deliveries,” he wrote.

"I've never seen a mom and daughter deliver on the same day. And this is as close as you could get”.

“I wish mom could’ve been there,” the daughter told People.

“But I was really excited to meet my new sister and for her to meet her new grandson,” she said of her mother who also expressed a little concern at not being able to be present at the birth of her grandchild. Patram added, "It was very emotional, but I was filled with so much happiness at the same time”.

Also present at the hospital was the rest of the family. Patram’s children Angelique, 14, Alicia, 13, Teranisha Billups, 20, and C.J., 4, along with Billup's partner, Jerry Sr., and Rayna's father. And of course, Patram’s own mother who is said to have been zipping from room to room in an effort to keep account of all proceedings.

Reports says that both mothers and both babies are doing well.
